The Stoneham Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union (SMEFCU) is pleased to announce
sponsorship of the 25th Annual Elsie P. Kinney Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship
program is in memory of a founder of the Melrose First Federal
Credit Union, which SMEFCU acquired on December 1st, 2018.
Two $500.00 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who plan to attend college.
The Elsie P. Kinney Memorial Scholarship is available to current high school seniors who meet ALL of the following criteria:
(1) Attend a local high school.
(2) Plan to enroll in a two-year or four-year college or university.
(3) Are an active Stoneham MEFCU member or whose parents/guardian(s) is/are active member(s)*
Those who meet the scholarship criteria may print the application online. The dead line to apply is June 14, 2019.
Completed applications must be submitted to SMEFCU’s Main Office at 40 Pine Street,
Stoneham, MA 02180 no later than 4:30pm, Friday, June 14, 2019.
* This includes our newest SMEFCU members of the former Melrose First Credit Union.
