The Stoneham Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union (SMEFCU) is pleased to announce sponsorship of the 26th Annual Elsie P. Kinney Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship, was originally started, in memory of a former founder, of the Melrose First Federal Credit Union.
Two (2) $500.00 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who plan to attend college.
Scholarship applications are available at the branch locations in Stoneham and Wilmington.
Completed applications must be submitted to SMEFCU’s Main Office at 40 Pine Street,
Stoneham, MA 02180 no later than 4:30pm, Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
Scholarship application criteria consists of the following:
1) Applicants must be a graduating member of the Class of 2020.
2) Applicants must be enrolling at a school of higher learning for the Fall 2020 Semester.
3) Applicants must be a member or the child/grandchild of a member of the Stoneham
Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union.
SMEFCU encourages all Class of 2020 graduates from any accredited high school within the
New England area who meet the above criteria to apply for this scholarship.
